NOTD: Femme Fatale Cosmetics Custom 'Lucky'

Morning y'all! Hoping everyone's enjoying the holidays - mine's been filled with food comas, drinks, and fun and games (with a side dish of work, which was somewhat more pleasant than last year's Christmas rush in retail, so that's a plus).

Today's post will be show casing this gorgeous custom Lucky I ordered from Sophie over at Femme Fatale Cosmetics

Bottle Shot of Lucky

It's a dense golden toned glitter topper with hints of magenta thrown into the mix. I really wanted to show you all just how gorgeous the polish is on its own so I layered it over my favourite nude polish Sally Hanson Cafe Au Lait. It works great for a glitter gradient, and on my ring finger is 1 thick coat - another couple of thin coats and it would be perfect.

I also have a little confession to make regarding this polish. Initially, this specific mix was designed for a friend of mine to gift for Christmas, but when Sophie sent me a swatch picture of it, I really realllllly liked it... so I cheated and asked her to make two custom bottles of this hehe Though, since she never noted down the exact recipe for the polish, there were bound to be slight differences between the two, so really they're not exact replicas right? :P *cheeky attempt at playing innocent*

I also decided to add a few dainty white flowers on top. Though, I'm kind of on the fence with how it turned out, the glitter gradient was so simple and pretty on its own.

On a side note, I'm really digging my nail shape now, I'll go mad with grief the day I break a nail and have to file them all down! *knocks on wood* *faints dramatically* haha

  1. Such a pretty polish! How does this actually work (I've never been on the Femme Fatale Cosmetics site before and it's closed right now): can you choose what kind of colour, glitter, texture... you want the polish to be and then they make it for you? If so, great choices you made, it's stunning :) And I also agree with you on the nail shape, gorgeous!

    1. I just messaged her asking if she wasn't too busy and if she was able to create a custom for me (: and yes! You just give a description of what you envision your polish to be and she'll make it, it's a great way to create unique polishes for gifting - which was what I did ^^ hehe
