Hey guys, and a Happy St Patty's Day to you all! Though I didn't do any drinking in celebration today, I did join in on the green nails band wagon. I wore the gorgeous Emily De Molly Monet's Garden. It's a stunning green jelly polish filled with an assortment of green, purple, pink and blue glitters - it's so dense that all this took was 2 coats!

AN Monday: Bridal Design
Hey y'all! I haven't done one of these in a while, and it's good to be back! Though, since it's almost 4am here in Australia, technically I'm late for AN Monday, but hey, in some parts of the world it's still Monday, so this still counts and I'm not late :P And plus, until I sleep, it's still Monday to me haha
The theme for this week's Aussie Nails Monday is Bridal Design. A handful of ladies in our group are bride to be's so this is for you girls! I was tempted to go with the classic french tip, as you can't possibly go wrong with wearing that, anywhere. But thinking of my own wedding, or even just a wedding I was going to attend, I probably couldn't stand just have plain french tips, so this is my little spin on the theme.

AN Monday: Snowflakes
Hey hey hey... it's Monday today! And I'm on time with my AN Monday mani this week :D So obviously, judging from the title of this post, and the fact that there are huge snowflakes on my nails, the theme was snow! (Or snowmen lol)
I reallllly wanted a pale pink polish that wasn't too sheer (Sally Hansen Shall We Dance is my usual soft pink go-to but this time I wanted something a little more opaque) but the closest I could get was Ulta3 Pale Dahlia. Although it's got a pearl shimmer finish to it - and I'm not fond of shimmers/ pearly polishes at all - I was going to be covering it up with a holo glitter gradient and snowflakes anyway, so it wasn't too big a deal. For the glitter gradient, I used Chi Chi Celebrity Melt Down (which I feel like I've been using a lot lately) and Essence Black is Back for the snowflakes.
Before painting on the snowflakes, I fell in love with just the holo gradient over the pink! I was this close *motions with fingers exactly how close* to leaving it like that and just pretending it was an abstract representation of snow falling :P But I cheated last week with the scribble Christmas tree, so thought I may as well practice my free hand drawing skills this week.
And by golly gosh are snowflakes finicky little turds! I had to practice multiple times on a piece of paper before being confident enough to try it on my nails. And whenever two spikes touched, I'd quickly go between them with acetone and redraw them straight again.
They're actually pretty basic compared to all the other snowflake manis I've seen floating around, but this is the best mine are going to get this year :P I have no intentions of revisiting this little monster until at least next Christmas haha

AN Monday: Christmas Tree
*Oops* Another AN Monday mani a couple days late :P So this week's theme was Christmas trees, and I was cheeky and took the easy way out (;
I used Sinful Colors San Francisco, Ulta3 Luck of the Irish and China Glaze Twinkle Lights for the gradient, and a simple gold on black Christmas tree scribble for an accent (Orly Glitzy over Sinful Colors Black on Black). Though it's terribly simple, I still love how it turned out! They sparkle so bright in the sun, they're quite the attention seekers :P

AN Monday: Pink or Purple
It's that time of the week again: Aussie Nails Monday! Though I am a day late :P The theme for this week was pink or purple, and of course, the purple sucker in me chose purple. I decided to go with my first ever BIG lemming: Gloss n Sparkle After School Special.
I used two coats over a Max Factor deep purple polish I unfortunately don't know the name of (I accidentally ripped the label off of a long while ago *oops*), and also used Femme Fatale Eventide for the glitter gradient on my middle finger.
Unfortunately, today was a bad day for photos, so this is the best I got with my S4 camera phone. Hopefully next AN Monday, I can spam you with tons more pictures!
But do feel free to check out the AN Monday manis by the other girls - you can find a list of them here.

AN Monday: Blue or Green
Hey y'all! :D So the theme for this month's AN Mondays, is Aussie Indie Month - showing our love for all the Aussie indie brands that support our polish addiction :P My Indie collection is only at about 30 bottles and only half are Aussie, but I'll try and make do with what I have! First up is "Blue or Green".
For someone who's a total purple junky, surprisingly, almost half my Aussie indie collection is blue! So I threw them all on the table and picked one at random :P
This gorgeous little number is Emily De Molly When Planets Collide. This is 2 coats layered over 1 coat of Revlon Royal. Though technically, from what I can see, it's actually a black jelly base, but it's so filled with blue glitter I classified it as blue :P !
I also tried for some nail art using BYS Diamond Glitter Opal, Max Factor Royal Blue and some striping tape.
Aaaaaand, I also have the last two weeks' AN Monday combined into one mani: Graveyard/ Your Choice, to finish off the October Halloween Month. Fingers crossed this month I'm on time with all my AN Mondays! :D

AN Monday: Zombies
Hey y'all! I've been slacking off and missed 2 Halloween AN Mondays in a row *oops* but I'm slowly catching up...
So the theme for last last week's AN Monday mani was zombies! RAWR I did zombie nails last year for Halloween too, so I thought I'd recreate them. They're a little less stitched up zombie, and a little more blood clot dirty zombie this time around.
Last year's stitched up zombie
This year's zombie full of bullet holes/ bite marks and blood clots
I kind of really still like my stitched up zombie mani, it looks a lot more gross and real... I might re-do them again, and wear them to work for Halloween, spook the customers :P
As much as I love these gory nails, I want to try for some cute Halloween nails this year too, any suggestions? :D

ANMonday: Halloween Decor
And so I've finally decided to join in on ANMondays !! :D It's just a fun weekly challenge where a bunch of us girls from an Aussie Facebook group coordinate our manis based on a theme every Monday, hence Aussie Nails Monday!
This week's theme was Halloween decor, which could include pumpkins, bats, and what I went for, cobwebs and spiders.
It's nothing too fancy, and I'm kind of meh about them, but I'm hoping next Monday's will be much more exciting. Though I am kind of digging the red tips.

And as a little extra somethin' somethin', here's Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Lava, 3 coats on its own. It shifts from a glowy red to an iridescent gold yellow, so gorgeous! I'm really starting to love duochromes, even developing a slight obsession... I can't wait for my ILNP ultrachromes to arrive *eeeep !!
